Keaton's Visit...
Day two we had a picnic and went to the park. We had so much fun. Keaton loved every minute of it. She is such a big girl, she tired claming the ladder all on her own. No worries though, someone was always near by. Nothing bad happened.

Adventures in Babysitting...
They played so hard, they got very tired and had to take a little cat nap. The funny thing is, they are just pretending to be asleep. It was pretty stinkin´cute!
During the trip I even had time to head out with Sherri and the girls and purchase my first real couch! I can´t believe it I am a growing up. I can´t wait to get the money from my signing bonus, to help pay for it! It will be a GREAT day. Feel free to send all your extra cash my way!

The Birthday Party!!! What fun we had...
Everyone enjoyed the new waterslide - I swear this is one of the best investments I ever made!
We can't forget our monkey pinata - had fun trying to break it but had to turn to Cody for a little strength to get the job done! haha
And we can't forget the highlite of the day........
The performance of "Happy Birthday to You" by Pawpaw and the Daddy-o's!! hehehe (Cecil made me promise there would be no pictures ~ ha who does he think he is dealing with here!!)
I have to say we are two very proud parents and grandparent and feel so fortunate to have such a beautiful family and the time we can have to spend together!!!
And I of course and so proud to be married to the best father and husband around!!
Love you all!
You each have an open invitation to come on down to Texas and try out the new waterslide!!

Music To Fill The Soul?!?!
All the Pretty Little Horses
By Nicholas Palmer
Hush-a-bye, don't you cry, go to sleep-y little baby.
When you wake, you shall have all the pretty little horses.
Blacks and bays, dapples and grays, coach and six little horses.
Hush-a-bye, don't you cry, go to sleep-y little baby.
Way down yonder in the meadow, lies a poor little lamb-ie.
Birds and flies pink-in' out its eyes, Poor little thing's a cry-in' "Mammy!"
Hush-a-bye, don't you cry, go to sleepy little baby.
When you wake, you shall have all the pretty little horses.
Now, there's one to sing to the little ones.
Below, the song, this was written...
Many, many cradle songs have surprising verses that seem frightening, but perhaps these scary things are a way of making the child seem that much safer in her mother's arms. Some singers leave out these words. There is more than one way to sing this song, The lullaby is made up of four bar stanzas and two different melodies that can be mixed up and interchanged as you like. This song usually ends with either "Go to sleepy, little baby" or "All the pretty little horses." Sing as you need to get your little one off to sleep.
He loved the above version!! Go Figure!
