Happy Birthday Misty!

I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my baby sister Misty. Thanks for always being there for me and for loving my kids so much! I love you!

Even though you are "Halfway to Fifty", you will always be my baby sister. The one who slept in my closets and spent many summer days visiting me. You are a beautiful "young" woman who adds so much to my life and to our family.
I Love You!

Who's having more fun?

We went to Chuck E Cheese with Jackie and Jayden.

As you can see, Mike really got into it... :)

Grandpa and Jayden riding the ridesMike and I battled it out in Dance Dance Revolution.

He got a little upset when I got more "perfects" than he did! Sorry Mike!

We all had a great time. Dad took a ton of pictures. I just wanted to share a few I got with my camera.

More Free Tickets...

So yesterday after teaching skiing, I got home and began to get ready for my night with Rob. I put on what I thought was a really cute outfit, got in the car and started over to his house. I hadn't been in the car more than a minute when he said, "make sure you wear warm clothes, and warm shoes." That was all he said. He wouldn't tell me why. So I turned the car around to go back home and change. By the time I got in the car again, he called me again and told me to hurry so we could make it to whatever it was he had planned on time...

My Mind was racing. With Rob and the free adds on Craigslist you never know what you are going to get into. When I got there we immediately jumped in the car and raced down south to Burien to get the free tickets and then back up north to Everett for the show. What were the tickets for? AMA X-TREME International Ice Racing Championship Series... Don't worry, I didn't know what it was either...

Apparently there are people who have decided that it is not dangerous enough racing motorcycles and 4-wheelers on the dirt or the pavement. They decided that it would be a good idea to take these machines, put spikes on their wheels and race them around an ice rink. Here are some photos to give you an idea...

Here is a video of the Motorcycle racing. One of the rules is the motorcycle can't have breaks. No one could tell me why, but I guess breaks don't do much good on ice anyway. They ride the entire race with their left foot dragging on the ice.

I woke up this morning and my hair still smells like oil and gasoline. It was entertaining to say the least. The racing was fun but so was the people watching. I felt like I was in the middle of one giant "You Might Be a Red Neck" Joke.

Thanks Rob for a fun Saturday Night. You should all come and visit. I'm sure Rob can find something fun for us to do! :)
