Happy Birthday Sherri!!

Julie and Rod at Crystal

Julie and Rod came to visit last weekend. They stayed a few days with me and then headed up to Whistler. We went skiing on Saturday up at Crystal Mountain. We left early on Saturday morning and hit a road block on the way up, but thanks to Rob's great sense of direction we were able to find our way without too much delay. The snow wasn't the greatest that day but we were still able to have some fun and Julie was able to get in a little practice before heading up to Whistler. It was fun to have them visit. Everyone else is welcome to come up too. Rob and I make an excellent hosts! :)

We met together, wrote notes to Jason, tied them to balloons and let them go. Jason we miss you so very much and will love you forever. Jason died 2 years ago today.

Kasey, Marc and the kids came in to visit last weekend - we had perfect weather in the 80's and spent a wonderful day at the park. I am by no means a photographer, but thought these pictures of Colton, Kylie & Madelynn turned out really well so I just wanted to share.

Teaching Skiing

So Rob convinced me that I needed to teach skiing this year. After only one season on Skis I was more than a little hesitant, but he convinced me and I'm so glad he did. I ended up having a great group of 4 year-olds that I taught for 8 weeks. We had a blast. They started off the first week barely being able to walk in their ski boots. Now they can ride the chair lift by themselves and come down the mountain all on their own. It was fun to watch them progress. I made a video of the kids. Check it out:
