Rob and I went to Whistler this weekend for our first ski outing of the season. We both bought new skis and couldn't wait to try them out. It was perfect timing for a ski trip because we were there on opening day of the new Peak2Peak Gondola. It spans from the top of Whistler Mountain to the top of Blackcomb Mountain. It is 2.73 miles long and at one point you are 1,427 feet above the ground. It was quite the experience. I'm glad we go the chance to go up.

Rob and I before getting on Peak2PeakAfter a day of skiing we rushed home on Saturday morning so I could be back in time for the Ward Christmas party. I was in charge. It turned out great. We even had a visit by Santa. We couldn't pass up the photo op.
